Welcome to my website and blog where I write about (some of) the things I love. They include writing (it’s what I do for a living), reading (it’s what I do when I’m not writing) and Dalmatians (just because….)
I also love crochet, walking in the rain and listening to Mozart – although not all at the same time. But I won’t be blogging about any of that.
I’ve been writing for ever but have been getting paid for it only for the last ten years. In that time I’ve sold over 400 short stories and serials to magazines in the UK and across the world and I’ve written and had published seven large print novels. I also write a monthly column, Ideas Store for Writers’ Forum magazine.
I am a proud member of the Romantic Novelists’ Association, The Crime Writers Association and the Society of Authors.
Murder Served Cold, the first in my Much Winchmoor Murder Mysteries Series, was published in October 2018 followed by the second, Rough and Deadly, in 2019 and the third in the series, Burying Bad News was published in March 2020. The fourth in the series is to be published later this year. (2021)
‘Murder mysteries, spiced with humour and sprinkled with romance.’
The series is set in a small Somerset village that bears an uncanny resemblance to the one I live in – although as far as I know, none of my friends and neighbours go around murdering each other.
